WHAT IT MEASURES

The B200 index tracks the US price of a one-year reserved NVIDIA B200 GPU rental, expressed in US dollars per GPU-hour. It includes B200 variants, with eligible observations adjusted to the index’s reference GPU and contract term.

The calculation combines completed transactions with published neocloud vendor list prices, excluding hyperscalers. The weight given to transactions varies with the number of eligible trades. Exponential smoothing combines the current assessment with the previous published value.
